PERSIAN
 HIMALAYAN
 (COLORPOINT)

Persian, colourpoint: From a crossing of Siam with Persians developed the first Colourpoint, which is called in America Himalayan. In England it was recognized for the first time 1955. With these cats only the body points are colored, i.e. lip, ears, legs and tail have a clearly darker color than the remaining body. The body coat is lightly beige or white and represents a good contrast to the darker coat. The eye color is blue. It is caused by pigment weakness of the iris. It bred in the most diverse colors, also as Tabby (lynx).
